Charmaine joined the team at SPH Radio in November 2017, and is currently the host of the afternoon show, Kiss Cafe on Kiss92 FM (weekdays, 1pm to 4pm). She has also taken on the role of Assistant Programme Director and Senior Music Director for the station.

Prior to her move to SPH Radio, Charmaine had kickstarted her radio journey in 2008 on Power 98FM, where she hosted/co-hosted shows on various timebelts.

Throughout her professional career, Charmaine has interviewed many notable celebrities, chefs and artists, including the likes of Hugh Jackman, Taron Egerton, Dexter Fletcher, George Calombaris, Cyril Takayama, David Archuleta and Vertical Horizon among others.

An accomplished emcee and voiceover talent, Charmaine Phua brings her own brand of polish and professionalism to each and every on-site show she's hosted, and commercial she's ever voiced.

She has provided hosting services for various clients, including DBS Treasures, Nike, adidas, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Ben & Jerry's, Heineken and Sentosa.

She has also lent her voice to brands like Volkswagon, Seiko, Fujitsu, MAC Cosmetics, Nature's Farm and Tiger Airways among others.

Charmaine is an established food critic, having helmed a food segment on Power 98FM for over 6 years. She has also served as a judge for several notable food competitions, including Restaurant Association of Singapore's Epicurean Star Awards (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019), SPH Food Masters (2018 & 2020), the Weekender Foodmania Awards (2015 & 2016), as well as Singapore Tourism Board's Singapore Experience Awards (2014 & 2015).

Aside from her passion for eating good food, Charmaine also enjoys pottering around in the kitchen and testing out new recipes she finds online. In addition, she enjoys travelling and hunting down the best food and views each city has to offer.
